Preludium:05 är den femte utgåvan i serien Mackmyra Preludium. Detta är den första varianten med fat enbart från vårt destilleri på Mackmyra Bruk. Preludium:05 har karaktär av utvalda smakrika småfat. Smakbasen utgörs av svensk elegant maltwhisky lagrad på 200-litersfat, med en avslutande lagring på små fat, byggda för hand.

Preludium:01 är den inledande utgåvan i serien Mackmyra Preludium. Det är en ung utgåva av de allra första destilleringarna av svensk maltwhisky. Här ingår både de första faten från vårt pilotdestilleri som var i drift 1999-2002, samt de första faten från destilleriet på Mackmyra Bruk. Kort sagt är det de första dropparna av svensk maltwhisky.

Mackmyra used a computerprogram developed by the Finse technology giant Fourkind and fed it with 75 different whisky recipes as well as awards, Mackmyra Preludium 06: Close but no cigar This expression was composed Barbro Hyllengren, who is the Distillery Visitor Manager at Mackmyra. Preludium:06 is a blend of smoky malt, stored for four years in first fill ex- bourbon casks. Preludium:06 är den sjätte och avslutande utgåvan i serien Mackmyra Preludium. Detta är den första varianten där smakbasen utgörs av vårt rökiga recept, kryddat med enris. Preludium:06 är en blandning av vårt rökiga och vårt eleganta recept lagrat i fyra år på ex-bourbonfat av first-fill kvalitet.
